The USWeb Foundation Building a School in Cambodia
When we decided to start The USWeb Foundation, we wanted a project that would affect hundreds, potentially thousands. A project that we could watch grow and take shape. And we also wanted project that focused on educating young people.
All those wants were met by making the decision to fund the building of a school in a rural area. We chose Cambodia in large part because of the existence of organization that could help us, like American Assistance for Cambodia.
With their assistance, we will be able to build a school that will provide hundreds of students with an education they would normally miss.
So we have moved forward with funding, and are currently awaiting to hear where our school will be built. We will try to follow the construction and opening as closely as possible, and hopefully be able to post pictures of the school and students.
