Challenge
4Inkjets sells printer supplies, one of the most purchased items on the Internet. Because of its popularity, competition between printer supply retailers is fierce and winning traffic is essential. 4Inkjets turned to USWeb to increase their customer acquisition while retaining their low acquisition costs.
Strategy
USWeb implemented a multifaceted approach, combining contextual marketing, search engine traffic, and email marketing. We worked with 4Inkjets to create an effective pop-up with an appealing call to action, optimized target sites for search engine placement, and notified printer supply purchasers of new deals at 4Inkjets.
Outcome
4Inkjets received hundreds of new orders, acquired hundreds of new customers likely to purchase again, and most significantly stayed well below their cost per acquisition goal.
